Part 6: Consider Us As...
This exploration of 1 Corinthians 4 challenges us to radically reframe how we see ourselves and fellow believers. Rather than ranking spiritual leaders or keeping score of who's doing better, we're called to embrace six transformative perspectives: viewing ourselves as servants under divine authority, stewards of mysteries entrusted to us, recipients of unearned grace, spectacles watched by both earthly and spiritual realms, spiritual parents modeling Christ, and spiritual children eager to learn. The Corinthian church struggled with division and pride, convinced they had spiritually arrived, yet Paul reminds them, and us, that none of us have made it yet. What strikes deepest is the sobering reality of the judgment seat of Christ, where our stewardship of the gospel will be evaluated not by human standards but by God Himself. The question isn't whether we can impress others with our spiritual knowledge, but whether we're faithfully sharing the miracle that transformed us. Paul's life exemplifies someone who couldn't be beaten as he was persecuted, imprisoned, beaten, yet unstoppable because his joy came from eternal reality, not temporary circumstances. This message confronts our tendency to perform Christianity in public while living differently in private, reminding us that we're constantly being watched by dimensions we cannot see. The call is clear: stop playing games, drop the masks, and live with authentic passion for Christ in every arena of life.
