Serving is an essential part of the Christian life because Jesus Himself came not to be served, but to serve and give His life for others (Mark 10:45). When we serve, we reflect His love and humility, but more importantly, we create opportunities to share the gospel. True service goes beyond meeting physical needs—it points people to the greatest need of all: salvation through Jesus Christ. Whether we serve in our church, community, or workplace, our ultimate goal should be to glorify God and make His name known. As we love others through acts of service, we must also boldly proclaim the good news, because the greatest act of love is sharing the hope of eternal life in Christ.
