Episode 11: The Good News of The Gospel
In this episode of “Redefined,” we finally dive into the question we’ve touched on in almost every episode: What is the gospel? For those who’ve grown up in church, it might be tempting to skip this episode, thinking they already know the answer. But one thing we must never allow ourselves to do is become numb to the gospel. We begin by exploring why the gospel was necessary in the first place—why did Jesus have to die? From there, we unpack the significance of His death and resurrection on our behalf. The truth is, if your faith rests in anything other than the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, you are lost. We’ve often replaced the gospel with man-made traditions, but there is only one narrow path to life: Jesus’ perfect, final, and finished sacrifice for us.
