Part 3: The Danger of False Teaching

Jun 1, 2025    Noah Estes

This Sunday, we closed out Titus chapter 1 with a message titled The Danger of False Teaching. We focused on three key truths: false teaching is dangerous, sound doctrine matters, and true faith is proven by fruit.

We were reminded that not everything that sounds good is actually grounded in truth. False teaching, whether through legalism, tradition, or human effort, distorts the gospel and shifts the focus from God’s grace to our own actions.

Sound doctrine is essential—not only for our own spiritual health but for ensuring fruitfulness for generations to come. When we remain rooted in the true gospel, our faith bears lasting fruit that impacts others and glorifies Christ.
