Part 4: Silence is Not an Option

Jun 8, 2025    Matt Rummage

This morning, we continued our Titus series with Silence Is Not an Option, focusing on Titus 2:1–10. We revisited the call for spiritually qualified elders from chapter 1 and emphasized the importance of a team of leaders who are sound in doctrine and character.

God’s plan for lasting fruitfulness in the church includes every generation, and today we specifically focused on the role of men. Paul urges “older men” to set an example for the younger—living lives marked by sobriety, reverence, self-control, sound faith, love, and patience.

The call to disciple and lead by example is not optional. It’s part of God’s design for a thriving, multi-generational church that reflects the character of Christ.
