Day 3: Your Identity Redefined
Reading: 1 Corinthians 6:9-11
Devotional: "Such were some of you." These four words contain the entire gospel. Whatever you've done, whoever you've been, that's your past. Not your present. You have been washed, sanctified, justified. Your identity is no longer "adulterer," "fornicator," or "lustful", it's "child of God," "redeemed," "holy." The enemy wants you to live in shame, constantly remembering who you were. But God wants you to walk in freedom, fully embracing who you are now. This isn't about pretending sin didn't happen; it's about believing that grace is more powerful than your past. When temptation whispers your old name, declare your new identity loudly. You are not who you were.
Remember: Belief always leads to behavior. If you truly believe these truths, your life will reflect them. Don't just know these things in your head, live them out through your choices.
