Day 4: The Cost of Compromise

Reading: Proverbs 6:27-35

Devotional: Can you carry fire in your lap without burning yourself? Sexual sin always costs more than you imagine. It promises pleasure but delivers pain, offers excitement but brings destruction. What seems harmless today creates bonds that enslave tomorrow. Every compromise trains your heart away from God's design and toward counterfeit satisfaction. The consequences may not be immediate, but they are inevitable. You won't be the first person in history to live outside God's will without consequences, it's never happened and never will. The good news? You can draw a line in the sand today. The last time you return to that sin can be behind you. Freedom is available, but it requires honesty about the true cost of compromise.

Remember: Belief always leads to behavior. If you truly believe these truths, your life will reflect them. Don't just know these things in your head, live them out through your choices.
