Spend time in God's Word each day and allow the Spirit to shape your heart through Scripture.

Day 1: The Spirit's Work - Exalting Christ
Reading: 1 Corinthians 12:1-3; John 16:12-15
Devotional: The Holy Spirit's primary mission is to exalt Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. As you navigate decisions today, ask yourself: "Does this honor Christ?" The Spirit never draws attention to Himself but always points to Jesus. In a world filled with competing voices and spiritual confusion, this becomes our litmus test for discernment. When we encounter teaching, experiences, or movements claiming to be spiritual, we must examine whether they truly magnify Christ crucified and risen. The Spirit's authentic work always leads us deeper into worship of Jesus, not into self-focused experiences or human glory. Let Christ be the center of everything you think, say, and do today.

Day 2: Equipped to Serve Others
Reading: 1 Corinthians 12:4-7; Romans 12:3-8
Devotional: God has uniquely gifted you not for self-promotion, but for the benefit of others. Every spiritual gift flows from the same source, God Himself, and is distributed "for the profit of all." This transforms how we view our abilities and opportunities. Your gifts aren't about you feeling fulfilled; they're about building up the body of Christ. Consider this: someone around you today is struggling with something you cannot see. They need encouragement, wisdom, or practical help. God has equipped you to meet that need. The question isn't whether you're talented enough, but whether you're willing enough. God provides what's needed in the moment through available vessels. Will you be that vessel today?

Day 3: God Will Provide
Reading: 1 Corinthians 12:8-11; Philippians 4:19
Devotional: "The Lord will provide." These four words should revolutionize how you approach ministry and relationships. You don't need to have all the answers or abilities beforehand. God distributes gifts "as He wills"-in the moment, according to His perfect knowledge of what's needed. This should free you from fear and inadequacy. When you encounter someone in need, God knows their heart, their situation, and exactly what will help them. Your role is simply availability, not capability. The Spirit enables wisdom for specific situations, knowledge that couldn't be naturally known, and faith that God will act even when circumstances seem impossible. Stop waiting until you feel qualified. God qualifies the called; He doesn't call the qualified.

Day 4: Beyond Ourselves
Reading: Hebrews 2:3-4; Matthew 28:18-20
Devotional: Why do you pray for miracles? Why do you ask for healing? These questions expose our hearts. God performs supernatural works not merely to make us comfortable, but to authenticate the gospel and build His church. His miracles serve His mission. When we pray selfishly, focused only on our relief, our comfort, our problems, we miss the bigger picture. God sees how your healing could encourage another believer, how your miracle could draw someone to faith, how your testimony could strengthen the body. This doesn't mean God is uncaring about your needs; rather, He cares about them within the context of His greater purposes. Today, align your prayers with God's mission. Ask Him to work in ways that advance His kingdom.

Day 5: Do We Really Care?
Reading: 1 Corinthians 13:1-7; 1 John 3:16-18
Devotional: The most challenging question: Do we care about anyone but ourselves? Spiritual gifts mean nothing without love for others. You can pursue healing, miracles, and spiritual experiences, but if your motivation is self-centered, you've missed the point entirely. Look around. People are hurting in ways you cannot see. Behind smiles are addictions, pain, brokenness, and bitterness. The question isn't whether you know what they're going through, you don't. The question is whether you care enough to be present, available, and willing to let the Spirit work through you. Has your job, hobby, or comfort become more important than hearing the cries around you? Repentance begins with honest self-examination. Today, ask God to give you His heart for others, to hear what He hears, and to see what He sees.
