Believer, You are a Sheep!
Aug 17, 2025 • Matt Rummage
This Sunday, we continued exploring who we are in Christ by looking at the believer as a sheep under the Shepherd. Throughout both the Old and New Testaments, God’s people are called sheep more than 40 times, a picture that reminds us of our desperate need for Jesus as our Shepherd.
Being identified as sheep highlights our vulnerability, our need for guidance, and the importance of living in fellowship with other believers. Most of all, it points us to the greatness and glory of the Shepherd who lovingly leads, protects, and provides for His flock.
