Day 3: Recipients, Not Achievers

Reading: 1 Corinthians 4:6-8; Ephesians 2:8-10

Devotional:

The Corinthians thought they'd arrived spiritually—full, rich, and self-sufficient. Paul reminds them: everything you have, you received. We didn't earn our salvation, gifts, or knowledge. Pride says, "Look what I've accomplished." Humility says, "Look what God has given me." When we forget we're recipients, we become like the church of Laodicea—lukewarm, with Jesus knocking from the outside. True spiritual maturity recognizes we never fully arrive in this life. There's always more to learn, more room to grow. Today, thank God for what you've received, and ask Him to keep you hungry for more of Him—never satisfied with spiritual complacency.
