Day 1: Servants Under Authority

Devotional:

Paul reminds us that we are servants—subordinates under a higher authority. This isn't a burden but a relief. Like soldiers receiving orders rather than creating battle plans, we simply execute God's commands. Jesus Himself modeled this servant posture, humbling Himself to death on a cross. When we view ourselves as servants of Christ, pride dissolves and humility emerges. We stop competing with other believers and start collaborating under one Commander. Today, ask yourself: Am I trying to be the general, or am I faithfully following orders? The most stress-free life is one lived in simple obedience to the Master's voice.
